In this session, you will learn how to navigate the features in the Diné Bizaad Dictionary App by Native Innovation and discuss how this technology tool can be implemented in diverse learning environments. 
  1. Search database in English or Diné Bizaad
  2. Listen to words and phrases by selecting the audio button and hear vowel/consonant, glottal, and high tone sounds
  3. Use the Categories feature to see lists of animals, days of the week, handling verbs, colors, food, and more
  4. The Navajo Word of the Day features a calendar with daily notifications of words and phrases
  5. Organize your favorite words and phrases
  6. Use the clipboard feature to type custom Diné words and phrases using the Diné keyboard layout
  7. Share words and phrases via social networks, email, and messaging
  8. Contribute your Diné words and phrases to the database using the Feedback feature
  9. View your recent searches
