Digital Breakouts are digital puzzles that incorporate digital and language literacy, problem solving, and collaboration based on Escape the Room games. By bringing gaming elements into your classroom, students have opportunities to learn 21st century skills mixed with content standards all while having fun. In this session, participants will learn how to create digital breakouts using the GSuite of apps: Docs, Forms, Sites, Drawings, YouTube, etc. Digital Breakouts provide challenging ways for students to engage in content and even creative ways to demonstrate their own learning. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops as you will be working on creating a product of your own.
