Random Impulse Taiko
‘With drums we pray, in dance we trust’
Established in September 2013, Random Impulse Taiko (RIT) is Northern Arizona’s first resident taiko group. The 2000 year old Art Form of Japanese Taiko drumming is a full body experience that combines martial arts, voice and drumming for a dramatic, high energy presentation. RIT members are happy to share the discipline and joy of taiko with the Flagstaff community through classes, performances, workshops held at Sleeping Lion Martial Arts Academy in the Sunnyside neighborhood.
